Fashion sense!

BAH!

I have been looking for a pactictular kind of skirt.

Broomstick skirt. Long down to your ankles. flares out. comfy you-can-sit-indian-style skirt.

and do stores sell them?

why?

Cos that's not the fashion! them damn skirts that are more form fitting are (go straight they fuck down, they do!).

ya know, I tried to be fashionable once. Back In HS.

I had permed hair (disaster) tried to wear the right clothes (disaster), OH how I tried!

then when I went to college I had an moment of clarity....
I can't be fashionable, & I don't have to.

btw... I finally found the skirts I wanted. 10 bucks at the co-op. I slap my forhead for not thinking of looking there before!

I always have visions of the perfect clothes for me, then I search and search to no fucking avail. Shops close to me only have trendy and TIGHT whore clothes. I want slightly baggy..its not fair Then when I do find something it doesn't bloody well fit..they dont make things for short legged people...

On a different note...
There's a store in the mall, owned by an Indian guy, that imports some nice dresses...most of them are meant for people who eat, which is nice, and they don't stock thousands and thousands of them, so you won't see 10 people wearing the same dress as you. Some "international" looks, but also a few hot 40's style dresses...I become progressively more and more fond of the 40's.

Look at stores on the net. You have a good chance of finding any type of skirt you can imagine.

They sold all kinds of hippie clothes at the head shop I worked at. You'll find that skirt baby.

The one problem I have with head shops is that the skirts are too small for my fat ass!

If you want slightly baggy pants for shorted legged people you actually might want to try boys pants/jeans. They work for me and its good because males jeans come in different lengths.

Joey I would also suggest Old Navy or the Gap *shudder* for the straight legged jeans. Classic Fit is what I think they refer to them as.

IMO thrift stores are the best way to go!
