They did it, my fucking bank has transfered me to the debt collectors section. Bastards, they know im in japan, they know i have only recently got a job, They were faxed (because it is almost impossible to get the manager on the phone) and now i get a letter stating that i havent mad an effort so they had no choice, kind of rules, crap.

let me tell you a secret about collections & banks.

they dont care.

You can write them, call them, whatever.

they dont care.

all they want is your $

I know cos I am collections for a bank (for tax related products), and I sure as hell don't care, & neither do my supervisors (hell, they really dont care!).

So my advice to you is if you ever answer the phone and get an automated voice that sez 'pleaz hold for an important msg', hang up right away. It's a Dialer, someone is either calling you for collections or telemarketing. Just hang up, and ignore the phone if it rings right away again.

I know this cos I am on the other end of that dialer, calling to ask for payments.

I am telling you this why? cos I don't care

be careful of bank one too, they are really an aweful bank, they fuck stuff up constantly.

normally on the phone, i have a tone of voice that idicates that i have come to expect the futality of explaining my situation to somebody on the phone, however i feel this time i may say something like "i am recording this telephone for your and my security and to ensure a good client service is provided, thank you. Hello so when do i have to pay then, hmm ok, hmm ok, hmm ok, hmm the usual then, hmm ok, hmm im not suprised, hmm do you enjoy this?, whats your name again, i have a prince albert you know", etc.

I feel your pain PMG. I worked for an auto leasing company when I was pregnant with my daughter. They had me doing collections around Christmas time! Twas not a fun job at all.

hmm, i never really get angry at the phone staff, i normally try to get to someone a bit higher up and try to belittle them.
My sister works in recieving telephone bookings for the opera house in covent garden, and the kind of insults she gets of these rich fuckers is most distressing, comments about how stupid she sounds and is, by some half dead lord or somefuck.
man, i couldnt do i would tell them all to die.
