Why I dislike Tony Blair
For example, he wants to remove the principle of 'double jeapody' on murder cases, because of new tools available in forensic science.
Removal of the right to trial by jury in cases that have minimum sentences of less than two years, and also for those that are persisatnt offenders. The rationale being that those that often elect for jury trial do it only to waste the courts time.
The list could go on but I won't. I just hate the man. He's like an old lady of 89 driving a car and approaching a cross road. He indicate left and then turns right. I hate the way he talks the language of left and does the actions of the right. It sickening.

Removing the right to trial by jury? I don't like that, I reccomend raising a stink about that one. Trial by jury, while far from perfect, is very important, even in lesser crimes. It's a great deterrent to corruption in the justice system.

My main reason for hating him is the way he moves his head. And his hands. that shit makes me feel sick.
I love the way that every time he opens his mouth he says something outrageously fucking stupid. AND WE STILL VOTED THE CUNT BACK IN.
sez something about UK methinks.
He is far too proficient in the bodyswerve.
Sp00ky if you ever get the chance, try and burn him with a cigarette, subtly so he thinks it was an accident, but stil on his face or other exposed bitsso it leaves a scar we can be proud of, i'll do the same. Lets get the bastard.
First one to burn him gets 50p
I'll give you a quid if you can talk him into playing that game with the £10 note and a lit ciggy.
DO WE HAVE A DEAL?

ok, while I disagree with this policy let me explain its context fully. In the UK the judical consists of 4 levels. Magistrates Court, Crown Court, High Court, and the House of Lords ie. Law Lords and Office of the Lord Chancellor (sorry bout the regalier)
Basically when you commit a crime you go to Magistrates Court. Depending on the crime that court can sentence you. For example a mugger will be sentenced by a panel of four Magistrates (judges). Magistrate courts can only sentence people for crimes that carry a maximum of three years of prison. If the crimes maximum is greater than that, then the case has to go to Crown Court where there is a jury. i.e rape, murder etc.
Now here is the crunch and the thrust of this policy. If you fall into the catergory wher the magistrate can sentence (after lawyers argue etc) then you currently have the right to plead Not Guilty and opt to go to Crown Court and have a jury, regardless of the crime.
The polciy is aimed at stopping people wasting the courts time, as they often do, in electing for Crown, waiting a couple of months and then changing their plea at Crown to Guilty.
They also want to stop persistant offenders going to Crown. Thus a fast track judicial system. In other words, if you are a known criminal that does the same crime over and over again and spend time inside, then you are denied the right. Perosnally I think this part is wrong, that is my objection. Everyone shoudl be innocent until proven guilty regardless of their track record.
Tony Blair is simply extending the illiberal ideas of Thatcher like when she changed the caution the police give to:
"You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when questioned something which you latrely on in court. Anything you do say may be given in evidence."
In other word, if you stay quiet then we can assume your guilt. And you can;t produce an alibi after the interview

Didn't your mother ever tell you?
Right and left are illusions - ideologies are pre-fab sets of verbal diarrhea that have little connection to reality but instead to abstract ideals which may or may not be adhered to by any one party at any one moment. Ideologies are manipulated and pressed upon our patterns of thinking about political issues in order to keep us confused, to keep us from developing a rational and pragmatic approach to politics that reaches beyond party boundaries and beyond the agendas and vested interests of politicians and the men who put them in power.
Carry on.
