my mother is an open heart nurse.
she assists in open heart surgery.
she has one more semester before she has her bachelors of nursing.
my father is independently wealthy doing god knows what.
he says he is a copy writer

my younger brother has one more year before he has a bachelors degree in multimedia. i think his title will be webmaster.

my husband owns his own business doing graphic design and illustration for large companies.

My mommy works at the Loony ward at Riverside Methodist Hospital

Dad does many things. Primarly he's a real estate developer. he also devopes low income housing for nonproffit and sells them to managment company. He owns several properties around Columbus. I have no idea how many. He does well

My father is a retired Navy carrier pilot. He spends the summers up at his cabin in Alaska, fishing and spends the winters in his beach house down in Mexico... fishing. He drives an RV between the two that is about 80 yards long and could house a professional football team and their staff. He stops in long enough to say Hi and let me know that he is healthy and is spending my inheiritance as fast as he can. I say Hi back and toss rabid weasels in his RV as he is driving off. He never shuts the RV down when he comes through as it is to big to park anywhere, sometimes saying Hi without actually taking it out of drive. That seems to suit us both fine. I like him and all but apparently we bonded when I was two and that was enough for him with the fatherhood shit.

My mother lives about a mile from me and works as a member rep for a timeshare company. Her other jobs are playing Bingo, telling Big Al that she is too good for me, calling me twice a week to make me come over and perform menial son-type tasks and to berate me for having never had a real job.
Her favorite line is, "I didn't raise you like that."

My Mom: She is a RN BSN TNS. Which comes out to a Registered Nurse, Bachelor of Surgical Nursing, and Trauma Nurse Specialist. She graduated college with a 3.95, having gotten all A's, except for one class. I'm damn proud of my momma. And she LOVES what she does. Doctors = lazy bitches. Nurses = the real life savers. It's a shame a dude holding a Slow sign in a construction zone makes more than she does sometimes....fucking pathetic. My mother also keeps the house in tact, and helped raise myself, and my dorky brother.

My Dad: He is President and CEO of GC Dies Inc. If you don't know what a die is, I will try to explain. It's for machines that cut out designs in paper products. Maybe baseball cards, greeting cards, and McDonald's display cases. Because my dad's company has worked so closely with many LARGE corporations for so long, I've been lucky to get a lot of neat stuff for free. I probably have one of the most extensive McDonald's toy collections, all sealed in their original packages, in full sets, which I hope to cash in some day when I'm poor. Along with never released sports cards, and other hard to located dealies. I was a lucky little rugrat. My dad is also a die-hard fisherman and Barbecuer. He OWNS the waters, and the meats.

My mom says "So, whens the wedding?" to the point at which she should get paid for it, but currently she makes trophies.

My dad says "Mooching again?" as he catches me raiding his fridge in the middle of the night. He lives down the road aways so I can walk back home with an armload of free groceries!

Mom: Chiropractor and Full-time mother. Raised 3 kids on her own while working full time and putting herself through chiro school. Got knocked up again, 12 years after her tubal ligation and became a single mom all over again.

Dad: Millwright. Works for a mine 100 miles north of the artic circle. He works 12 hour shifts, 28 days straight, then gets 14 days off. Don't see him so much as our schedules rarely match. He likes to build old cars. I've keep that hobby going by being the driver of his 57 Chevy when it was wrecked and or died not once, but twice.

My father in law in Japan use to be a heart surgeon, but he has moved up to more hospital administration and is now in charge of hospital operations as Vice President. He still advises and participates in operations, as well as plays golf and go. He is also studying law in his spare time.

Chelle: Your mom gets to help in surgery without even a bachelor's degree?

both of my parents are nurses, my mom in the er and my dad in the icu. both of them hold second jobs as professional naggers. they see so many stupid kids come through their respective units and they feel the need to constantly point out that i'm just as stupid, young, and vulnerable as the fresh corpses. bastards.

my dad is retired.. worked xmas of '99.. then he didn't have to work from the year 2000 onwards..
he started working at a bank at the age of 17 as a messenger and worked his way up to being an area manager.. he had many different managing jobs in the RBFG.. but we moved to the suburbs of t.o so he could have his area manager job.
mom was a nanny for 2 richie kids until we moved and afterwards she worked in retail for a bit and now watches my 2 nephews.. she's an amazing grandmother.. excellent with the little ones...

My dad's a supervisor for AVX. It's a company that makes capacitors.

Mom's a teacher. She teaches computers or somesuch at high schools, and also has some college classes. I don't know details, I don't talk to her often.

My mom is a flight instructor and a private pilot. She also owns half of my grandmother's Cosmetics studio. She is an 8th grade math and science teacher in West Point(going up for principal next year) and has a master's degree in teaching.
She also has a bachelors degree in nursing.

My dad has a degree in commercial art and used to design logos for area businesses. He also used to be in the navy(veteran) and a police officer for Newport News. Currently, he works for the same oil company I do, in management(like me... but he's much higher up).
