Australia beat the Lions (the UK) 29 to 23 to snatch the series for the first time in 102 years.

ok we do not suck at sport, we just arent the best yet, not surprising if you consider the size of our country and our population.

was i like the only one to notice that this is the first time the Aussies have won the series in 102 years, thats a fucking long time!

as far as football is concerned we have the best league in the world along with spain. out national team is getting better and better, the problem was never one of poor players but of poor coaching (excluding Venables), with erikson at the helm we really be able to kick some arse! i mean look at our players, Beckham, Owen, Campbell, Gerrard, Ferdinand, Dyer, we hgave some bloody good players.

Heman has got to the semis of wimbledon for the last few years which is good acheivment considering the drowt we've had in tennis previously, at least we have had players in the ATP top ten in the last few years.

As a side note, I agree we suck at most sports. The only ones we are good at are the ones that nobody cares about, like shooting, darts, snooker etc. As for Prozac's little bit about English football and Europe, I draw his attention to the fact that of the successful English clubs in Europe at least 50% of the players were not english and were european. So thats that argument to shit.

and the point being? this is natural for all the major teams in the major leagues around the world, go look at the real madrid side and tell me how many of their starting line up is spanish? i think you may find four players, Raul, Moreientes, Hierro, and salgado, that is it and they are considered the best side in europe.

the english national side is getting better by the game.and thats the main thing.

and spurs are a team of cast offs!
