Post The Future and perception

Time. The measure of movement..

Has anyone ever dreamt the future then had it happen?

This has happened to me a few times in life and it really throws a monkey wrench into things, ya know?

I have a theory that maybe the future has happened just a moment ahead of the perceived present..that maybe what we see and perceive is delayed reaction to an action that has already happened..therefore all physical future is perceivable as its actually lagging behind itself in order to be experienced in the realms that humans perceive reality in?

Any thoughts on this?

i think human beings are always stuck in the past, there is no physical way for humans to see the present, ever, our reaction is slightly delayed. our eyes see things and it takes a while for the image to be developed in our brains, it might only take a fraction of a second, but because it takes that fraction of a second to decipher anything we see, we are always slightly in the past...

Exactly my thoughts! All futures can be seen from any point of human perception..

And JoeyCat...All my De Ja vues happen as a dream first! I have been surveying this, it would seem about 1/4 of the people I ask about De Ja vue experiences say its a dream first...interesting

I dreamt about my husband seven years before we met..I can still remember being fourteen and waking in teh middle of the night and thinking "Who the hell was that? Hes so good looking! In the dream I knew I was older but I did not recognise the other person, 7 yrs later him and I are standing in the bathroom and the moment in the dream happened..we were together in the bathroom just as in the dream..I was floored..this happened a few other times in my life as well..

neat gazin !! makes you feel like some things I meant to be.
I don't see faces in my dreams, but that one time I did. I guess that's part of the problem why I'm having such a hard time getting over her.

i don't have any theories on this phenomenon because i haven't been able to admit that it's real yet, despite having these dreams every few months for my entire life. there's just no way for me to surmise a reasonable explanation at this point.
