Post do beliefs impair perception?

Does believing in something prevent one from being able to perceive things completely?

Would believing in all beliefs make one's understanding of the world more complete or more complicated or more inaccurate?

Most definitely.

And I don't believe that one can believe in all beliefs. If so, I believe it would be more inaccurate.

Well... *deep breath* if you believe that you can believe all beliefs then you can't believe that you can't believe all beliefs.
right?
So therefore you can't believe all beliefs.
nuff said.

But sure our beliefs impair our perception of things. Its why we might think one culture's behaviors are "barbaric" when there is a perfectly good explanation for what they're doing. etc

As soon as someone picks a side on an issue, they will usually try to stick to that side no matter what, often ignoring important facts on the issue simply because they go against their beliefs.
I'm not sure how one could believe everything because many beliefs contradict eachother. Sounds like a confusing mess to me.

WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? If someone sees as what he percieves as the truth then it is the truth and no one elses. Which leads to the question, what makes you think your perception is the absolute correct one? Just because someone elses perception does not match your doesn't automattically make him wrong, you closed minded fucker! FOCK OFF!

i wasnt quite sure. I never stated that any one was right or wrong, or that i automatically discredited anyones perceptions that differed from mine. You put words into my mouth and then insult me for something i didnt say? how does that work?
