the last few episodes of Community have been pretty good. If they can keep up the momentum, I would be much more interested in another possible season.
started off really rocky, but they seem to have found their feet for the last half of the season or so. I'm still kind of of the mind that it should be canceled, if only because I'm not sure what they could do with season 5. But if they renew the show, I would be much more open to the idea based on the last few episodes.
watched some of "copper" on Netflix - a production from bbc America about the 5 points region of nyc during the civil war. think "gangs of new York city" meets csi meets heat of the night, kinda.
good so far. I thought the first half of this season was the best the show has been in years (especially since deadweights Ryan and Kelly left; equally deadweight Erin and Nelly greatly improved; for some reason, they decided to make Andy an asshole, but he fucked off for a third of the season), but cratered midway through when Andy came back and they fucked around with Jim and Pam. it seems to have refound its footing for its last few episodes at least.
Has Community ended it's season? I need to catch up.
So, I really hate this show (How I Met Your Mother), mostly because the jokes are catered to 12 year olds and that Robin chick cannot act and pisses me off greatly. BUT, everyone was raving about how the 'mother' had been revealed already, so I was curious and watched the season finale episode. And. MEH. The show still is NOT funny.
Modern Family has been entertaining so far, throughout it's latest season as well. Great story development since it began.
I'm catching from the middle which sucks because I lost the entire idea.
But that talk with that minor princess and those two men that want to fuck her then she says they will be dead when they walk away that he will be the first one killed is pretty great.
I do think the show could be a bit more consistent in its long-running archs (See: Abigail), but it's rather good otherwise. Though I was a bit disappointed that the totem killer from the last episode wasn't something a bit more dramatic.
