_WHOOSH_
I liked the art in the movie. It's like the effective parts of it weren't really effects. It was the art. The sets were all grand as were the costumes. It reminded me of a 2 hour Tool video.
i saw the movie too. it was so fucking cool, but whacked out. if you're used to the SP movies you should be able to stomach some of the scenes. for some reason i kept getting a hardon when the women were in the water cell..

its me,
your misery.

What was it like to see
The face of your own stability
Suddenly look away
Leaving you with the dead and hopeless?
Eleven and she was gone.
Eleven is when we waved good-bye.
Eleven is standing still,
Waiting for me to free him
By coming home.
Moving me with a sound.
Opening me within a gesture.
Drawing me down and in,
Showing me where it all began,
Eleven.
It took so long to realize that
You hold the light that's been leading me back home.
Under a dead ohio sky,
Eleven has been and will be waiting,
Defending his light,
And wondering...
Where the hell have I been?
Sleeping, lost, and numb.
So glad that I have found you.
I am wide awake and heading home.
Hold your light,
Eleven.
Lead me through each gentle step by step
by inch by loaded memory.
I'll move to heal
As soon as pain allows so we can
Reunite and both move on together.
Hold your light,
Eleven. Lead me through each gentle step by step
By inch by loaded memory
'till one and one are one, eleven,
So glow, child, glow.
I'm heading back home.
--- This is the only thing that I could think to say. My thoughts are the elegant vomit of Maynard James Keenen's childhood.
That movie was DAMN good... Spookalicious, most definately.
I went to see it with Ben and some friends of his. We were all very pleased. It was SO worth the $7.50.
Right at the very end, as the last scene closed, as me, ben and the other three sat in awe, we hear this deep manly voice to my left say to his companion "that was a complete waste of film." Me and been look at eachother, and everyone looks at the man as he walked away trying not to perform an act of violence upon him.
And you are sooo right memdink... it WAS like a 2 hour tool video.
The same guy who dod the REM "losing my religion" video did this movie. You can totally tell, too.
This is the best movie I have seen in a LONG time.
