Say I Love You.
|
|
I just got word a friend's daddy passed away. She was very close to him, as a matter of fact she had talked to him at 10.oo am and they found him at 11.oo am when he didn't show up like he told her. He had a heart attack in his home and they went there to get him, only to have to kick the door in and find him on the floor, dead. He was 56 yo.
She is taking it hard, but she also told me her last words to him were 'I Love You' and that comforts her. I can understand that. There is always that feeling of neverending closure if you eternally part in angery or hateful words, it can be haunting.
Years ago it seemed my friends were dying right and left, I realized then how important it is to depart in good words and love if possible, because you never know what the next minute will bring. Since then, I always tell others I love them and if they are here with me and leave, I always give my friends a kiss and hug goodbye.I have a mistletoe above my door year round for that reason, they can not deny the mistletoe. ;)
May your friends die with your kiss upon their lips, your love in their heart, and the feeling of your arms around them.
Go in peace.
Godspeed.
