Asylum Discombobulation by lo-key - 2000-11-15 06:58:43
We are having major connection issues with the Asylum server, mainly due to an upstream router on our hosting network. Engineers will be installing new memory into this router Tuesday morning, as well as updating the OS. In the mean time, the website and forum will be intermittently unavailable.

To partially counteract this problem, we have removed otaku from irc.MindAsylum.net and will keep it off until the hosting network stabilizes. Currently, galt and irish are directly connected to each other - see this thread for more info.

Sorry about the outage guys. My server died last night and I just was able to fix it. There were some hardware problems.

The ASYLUM will be moved to a new server this week. We are expecting for this to happen sometime tomorrow, but do not have a definate schedule. You may experience problems during this window. It will probably begin at 4:00pm CST and will propagate through the internet over a period of a couple days.

Note: it is looking like this change will not happen to early next week. We will make an announcement in the forum before this change occurs. -Dingle

I will be moving DNS for mindasylum.net, during a short period (1 to 3 days) you may have trouble accessing IRC through irc.mindasylum.net. For any info on how to connect during this period please goto this thread. HERE
